thats awesome. one time, I went to see infected Mushroom at the guv, and i stayed in my friend's dorm room afterwards. When i got to the dorm and stayed there for a bit, people were walking in and going "Who's been smoking in here?" but really it was just my clothes....
anyways, woo for no smoking!

do you guys honestly think that alllll those people who smoke in clubs are going to stop immediately on june 1st? i HIGHLY doubt it.
well i'll be at system for steve lawler on the first friday night of this new law (june 4th) with a pack of cigarettes, i'll see what they say to me. i would like to see system turn away most of their clientelle because they have cigarettes.

Even though I'm a smoker, I actually like that this is going to be enforced. I barely smoke when I'm out anyways, so I could really care less. I also feel disgusting after a night of drinking if I've been smoking a lot too, I think I can attribute most of my hangovers to the ashtray taste in my mouth. Viva la cigarette ban!

And this'll make smoking weed SO much more difficult now
i share your pain
(minus the weed thing hehe)

i hope all you non smokers know what you're praising. this is going to absolutely CRIPPLE the afterhours club scene.
take a look around next time you go to guv or system to see the ratio smokers to non smokers. the smokers GREATLY outnumber the non smokers
and when you're flying on 4 pills all through the night, it's kind of impossible to go for 8+ hours without a smoke.
even when i was a non smoker i'd still be trashing this law because it's really going to fuck up the after hours scene. the population of clubs is going drop significantly if they enforce this.
what's next? banning alcohol? give me a fucking break.

I agree that the smoking ban is for the good. However, I do like to puffin' the 'erb at clubs from time to time, so this will make it virtually impossible. Oh well, take some good with the bad.
