I believe I fall under a third group.

I went to have a great time, which I did, but I did not enjoyed very, very little good music.

It was a good time for me, but could have been great had it been music I enjoyed more.

Those are are very critcal of the music...these people tend to be very hard on them.

Those who go to have a great time and just enjoy some great music....these people tend to love their gigs...

I'm a very open minded person when it comes down to music - hence I'm a DJ, I have to be. I love everything, from Sasha to PVD, to Mauro Picotto, to ambient.... At parties sometimes the DJ could be playing all the hits, but I won't feel it. I think thats what happened on Sat. They played several hits, but I just didnt feel it. I lke G&D productions, and sat was the first time I heard them mix live.

***PLUG*** Here's part of a live set from Easter Sunday. There's two links in that page. One is an MP3 (HiQuality), the other is a Real Audio Streaming (LoQuality). BTW, there's a G&D production in that set.

Samething happened last week. I went to Spundae to see Harry Choo Choo Romero. I like his productions, but I just wasn't feeling him. Then, as I was about to leave, Eddie Halliwell came on. I heard of him like once or twice. The moment he took over the turntables, I was amazed... I was so amazed, I stayed till he was over. He rocked. Let me just say this, he impressed me so much, the next day I wrote an article about him for the magazine I work for. There's the article.
