I do, and anyone who goes clubbing regularly and doesn't, is a fool
I already have a very small but measurable amount of hearing loss from back when I was in a high school rock band and didn't care about these things. Now I work as an airline pilot, and my hearing is my life ... or at least my job, so it's pretty much a no brain decision.
You can get pretty cheap, decent, musician's ear plugs from any musical-instrument shop, that cut all frequencies equally - the music is still plenty loud enough but takes it away from the dangerous loss-of-hearing decibel level.
Remember people, what normally happens isn't actually "hearing loss" but rather tinnitus ... aka that high pitched, really fuckin annoying ringing in the ears, that you get for a couple of days after a loud night out ... you will eventually find that it just won't go away. For the entire rest of your life. And it will drive you batshit, right up until you're an old man in a rocking chair.
Not for me!!
