Hi fellow TAs!! I've had a couple of glasses of wine so I hope I don't forget anything... Amber, thank you so much for making a thread for me and brian. Your words really mean alot to me. I remember, too, back in 97 when we used to hang out at Cosmos and talk about DJing and travelling the world. I want to spread a message to everyone. I want everyone to know that whatever you dream about doing, you can accomplish whatever you put your efforts into. There's always lots to overcome and setbacks to endure but you can always rise above. I overcame great odds to do what I do. Not just being from Tampa, but many other things like having an abusive paranoid schizophrenic mom, overcoming social anxiety disorder, and battling phobias of flying that have plagued me my whole life. Even being on a plane that had an engine catch on fire, or being in the air during the 9/11 attack, still didn't hinder my desire to be a travelling DJ. Everyone has something that stands in the way of success. Look to creatively resolving them so you can live your dream. There's more accomplishments that I'm striving for and I'm working hard every day to make them a reality.
Thanks to everyone who posted in this thread. I am truly grateful for all of your support. Arturo, da ostrich man will always be our inside joke! Dark Angel, it was really nice to meet you at the TA dinner. Hopefully I'll play in Miami soon. Do you happen to know the MIA promoter name? Damon, shouts out! It was cool to see you at Ferry. Rabbitjoker, thanks for being a regular listener on my www.ets-global.org shows every wednesday. JP, ya we sure do need to get that McDonald's stripper photo! What a classic that would be! MsGod, I always look forward to chatting with you every week. We're the sickest chicks of America!
Peeps look out for "Dutch Oven" clothing by me and MsGod! It's a demented twist on club & street wear. (Also, if anyone is going to the International DJ Convention in New Jersey this year, check it out, I've been asked to give a motivational speech there:-))
