it also comes with the Powercore01 synth (a near perfect emulation of the classic SH-101) vengeance sound just came out with a bank for it and it sounds SICK - http://www.vengeance-sound.de

yea this guy is a great sound designer
after long discussion
i have ordered the powercore firewire and the virus plugin, especially seeing as you can load up the patches that work with the hardware version into the powercore version.

costing over £1000, but well worth it IMO.

this is just my opinion based on my personal preference, but I would much rather own the Virus even in rack form than a 'virtual' software virus. In my opinion, having the dials and buttons to play with makes sculpting a sound much more satisfying than twiddling its virtual counterpart!

i hear what your saying
but if both sound exactly the same, and in this case they do.
then id much rather have the powercore version.
only hardware synth im planning on getting is the jp-8000.
