What set up do u have?

I have 2 9's and a vestax 275 mixer, mission speakers and a cambridge amp, decent set up, i need some headphones though, cos mine are rubbish.

see u live in chesterfield, i live in sheffield. Just started learning how 2 dj, got loads of old skool, hip hop and electro tunes to mix with, nice!!!!!

enjoy!!!!!!!

well.. i was definitly surprised at how good the axis 9 actually is.. if it had the 0.02% precision like the cdj1000 then it would definitly give it a run for its money, but unfortunatly that kind of digital precision costs lots of money :/ but hey i can manage great on these!

my setup consists of; 2 x vestax pdx2000, 1 x numark axis 9, vestax pcv-275 mixer, pioneer efx-500 with sennhieser hd280 headfones.. all hooked up to a NAD c320 amp + 2 wharfedale valdus400 speakers.

it goes loud

where abouts in sheffield do you live?

i live in abourthorne, i know bad eh, even the babies round here have tatoos.

Had problems with my deck, cant f***ing believe it, same fault as before, and they said they had replace it for new. I was mixing last night and i pressed the scratch button and the thing kept freezing on scratch and wouldnt play properly, it went all funny, kept switching all by itself from scratch to normal mode, and when i put my hands on the unit is played ok, weird or what!!!!!!!!1

Having the decks picked up tomorrow, by sapphires and thinking of getting the denon 5000, big jump i know, but am pissed off with numarkk, hope yours works fine!!!!!!!!!1

no problems with mine as yet.. its been perfect!

which scratch mode are you using? some of them do the scratch differently, as in when you let the wheel go it will carry on playoing, and when you touch it it will stop, this can be confusing if you are running another effect over the top of the scratching..

dont know if thats owt to do with it?

good thing it comes with 2 years warranty

it was happening in all of the scratch modes, the first deck when switched on would just freeze on scratch mode and not play at all, the second deck would freeze, then play, then freeze, but even more stangley when i touched the crossfader it would freeze. I'm now thinking it was an electrical current problem, because i had one deck plugged into the wall socket and another plugged into a 4 way flex lead socket, which was attached to the wall socket, so the 2 decks werent attached together. I dont know naff all about electricity, or the implications plugging in your decks through different plug sockets.
