The so-called "trance" of the current day and age doesn't begin to compare to what WOW does.

Ah, had you considered that it might be because this is a LIVE PA (of sorts)? Live PA's and DJ sets should be unique on some fronts.

Forming your own opinion is always the better choice. Of course, if you were expecting Gabriel & Dresden/Armin Van Buuren/Tiesto/Ferry Corsten mozarella, then yes, you would've been very disappointed.
