ur not fucked... I'll post samples of the outcome of my studio work the past two months. gotten some off the hook shit done lately.

in the mean time, check this out:

Acid trance remix of Naked Angel by Scott Bond vs Solarstone [DJMaytag's "199303 Returning" Remix]

A crappy progressive acid tune I did about a year ago. Good acid lines, but my song structure was poor back then.

Much better stuff is coming down the pipeline, now that I've gotten some help of an engineer and some better software!

i actualy like that mix you did there...this thread is funny cause I've actually been working on a tune recently which is progressive trance and chemical beats....or you could say it's just breaks with some serious acid on top. I don't have space to post so mayeb when it's done I'll find a spot to load it up...but untill then and untill I get some time to work it wont be heard

Limit out!

thanx! my work has gotten a ton better, as things are finally starting to click on all levels (after 10 years at trying my hand at making tunes).

Let me know about your work, as I'm pretty serious about pushing the acid sound back to the forefront of dance music again, be it acid house, acid trance, acid progressive, acid breaks, etc (hell, one of my all time favorite acid tunes is an ambient acid tune by Solar Quest called "Save The Whale").

acid is still all over dance music. you just need to know where to look.. some people would say its getting tired. every second techno tune still has a teebee in it. a whole fuck tonne of hard house, hardstyle and freeform still does the building high resonance acid squeel thing.

practically every psytrance tune these days has a teebee in it. some more so than others. fatali builds whole tunes using pretty much nothing except teebees. case in point - 'city of god'. the beathackers tune 'transpose' is all 303 except for 1 single note pluck. and that might even be a heavily processed teebee too...

fully aware of that, if you'd just look at the date of the post here you'll see why your comment is kinda irrelavant

People used to say that acid was "beaten to death" too.

Music elitists ... people like to think they're special because they're too "sophisticated" for a certain sound anymore (even if they used to love it).
