Try using the parametric EQ. You can adjust the EQ bands.

Dunno what you did on the mp3, you have a major phase problem. Left and right are almost completely in phase reversal (I checked, imported your sample into an audio editor, and inverted one of the channel. Immediately sounded much fuller).

Don't you guys notice there's like a void in the middle of the stereo image?

Get that right first...
