Just got over my hangover now, the evening after! The club we went to was nice layout, but far to many tickets were sold and upstairs in the main room, u could barely move. saying that i managed to get right up to the dj booth and ure right, he was using 3 decks! and cd decks as well i think.. but not sure. just saw his cd case open to the side. He definately got the crowd going though, even if there were too many of them.
Only managed to stay for 2 hrs in the club cos i got so wrecked beforehand, and wish i hadnt now dont know where u got the funky techno from, but he was definately spinning techno and think i would have had to been on to keep up with it all night. good stuff though.

Yeah, def go see him, he's an amazing DJ. He's also used 6 decks at once
And yeah, his style is techno/funky techno and some house, really good though...

his "skills" come from using 3 decks...

This from someone who has Tiesto listed as his favorite artist in his profile. For you to call Cox cheesy and boring is like Charles Manson calling Mother Teresa a psychopath. Cox was a legend long, long before anyone had even heard of Tiesto. He'll mix on 3 decks at once and will make it sound as smooth as ice (why not? he was the first one to do it afterall), whereas Tiesto struggles to mix consistently on two. I'm not going to bash you for loving the music you do, or for simply disliking what Cox plays, but please do yourself a favor and think before you speak.
