digital products.. allow sets to be more accurate, spontaneous and give the dj more options.. i think john aquaviva does this as well.. he usues a laptop.

Ipersonally think that vinyl is better since you are definately supporting the artists who produce the music you play. It can go either way with digital..

DJs use this, DJs use that... so what? if they had to use tape players, so be it! music play, people dance and that's the basic idea.

True say...and how sick was pvd and and F and P sets on final scratch, if it sounds good, keeps the ladies movin, im feelin it.

LOL

Most labels are doing it now. Release, bedrock, yoshitoshi etc. I've bought a few back issue tracks and burnt them to CD.

I have final scratch and a pair of CDJ's and to be honest, I prefer the CDJs. If anyone is interested in trying out FS i can hook mine up for you some time.

I followed the development of Final Scratch and Hawtin was a beta tester for it. Word has it that Stanton approched him to take it on tour when it was being developed.

Saw PVD using it to good effect last year but never knew how it worked...but after reading I have to say i am impressed...what a great use of technology to make it easier for dj's to mix/produce w/o carrying the huge vinyl carrying case everywhere which obv can't even carry close to all the records that one might have..

so u can have music on vinyls...cds...but wut about just plain hard drive? thats even easier and u can fit like alllll ur songs on it.
1 hard drive instead of 200 cds/vinyls.

so isnt it possible to do that? isnt it better?
