That moneymaking becomes more important then producing good stuff and being something special which can remain timeless.
Give the old bugger 2 years and Tiesto is a gonner

Had anyone else done this it would had been a great idea but when it's Tiesto it obviously has to be a cash grab.

Yep, and IMO Armin is slightly gettin' cheesier also (for example: Blue Fear 2004)! A big big shame!
And look at the tracklisting of his old compilations cd's and the recent A State of Trance 2004 (don't get me wrong, it's a good cd but he just be kinda exclusive and stuff)

nothing actually...but if he wants to become more of an "artist" than he shouldn't tour as much and work more in the studio. you can't expect to play 20 shows a month playing a collection of your music that is 3-4 years old.

I want to get some of those tiesto tunes as well
I'd like them to be re-released.
But, God, don't let them spoil the tracks with 2004 remakes

IMO, many older DJ's Track Selection is getting worse and worse. Maybe our taste is just changing, but it seems like they cant keep up with the times. DJ's like PvD, Armind, and Tijs all just seem to be playing the same style they've been playing for a long time and not changing at all. There isn't a problem necessarily, but the majority of their listeners from a couple of years ago have now started to move in a more progressive direction generally.

I really wanna get hold of sparkles, and possibly in my memory & urban train, so it's not a bad idea imo to give ppl like me a chance to buy some of our favourites

If you live near Breda you can actually still buy those vinyls right now, I bought the ones you mentioned about 6 months ago, and there were at least 10 more copies around of each (except for sparkles). But hey, now I'm just teasing you

Dude, some rock bands still play tunes that are 20+ years old and the crowd still loves them.

Ah well, I guess there's enough cash to be made on it, so why should he care.

the only remix worth playing is the jan and chantzis mix, all the other mixes of that tune fuckin suck
