the uefa cup disappoints as i expected it would and as the european cup probably will!!
last years final was sooooooooo much better and not just because celtic were in it.

Marseille vs Liverpool - Drogba was well outside the area when fouled but fell in the area to make sure a penalty & redcard came, after Liverpool were in charge
Barthez always tries to be flamboyant, rather than doing a good job. Valencia are nothing spectacular but get the job done and there were lots of petulant acts from the marseille players in the final where they could've easily been down to 9 or even 8 players had Collina not been lenient on them, and I found this the case watching Monaco & Lyon also, in England they'd not get away with such play
