the origional mk3 was very simular to the sl-1210mk2, except it had removable cables (wish the 1200s still did) and a more powerful motor. At the time of it's release it wasn't popular b/c it was very simular to the mk2 except a whole lot more expensive.

i personally want to know if there's a difference between a mk3d and a m3d. (There's just too many technics 1200 revisions and models)
