It sounds like there are some cracks and pops, which makes me think these were sampled from a record.

As for the vocals, I just snipped the verses, and them seem to fit at 140 bpm...

If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to post in the thread.

I have yet to find the original lo-fi version of the original song, so if someone can direct me somewhere. Some of the searches I have come up with are other coast-to-coast remixes.

if you go into soundforge (or summit like it) and cut the huge space @ the start out of the accapella, then it should run at 132 straight on the first beat!

Once you get other frequencies thrown in there, the pops and clicks and such will be much less noticeable. If you do a good enough job, they'll be invisible save for someone looking for them.
