You have to insure for several different things. Some agencies wont even take you if you don't.
Not to mention the fact that you may want to take out a public liability insurance too as you never know what can happen and what people will blame you for.

Dumb f**k if you don't more like.

You never know what can happen. Chances are that if you had an accident that stopped you from DJing it would probably stop you from doing a lot of other jobs too. Might as well make your life as secure as it can be.
