Go read the website again. It explicitly says that if you are under 18 you MUST be accompanied by an adult over 21. It does not say "to loiter you must be accompanied"

This is the part that i object to as well as the "dress code". The rest of it is perfectly acceptable and allows for the proper treatment of trouble makers.

I just have a problem with policies or laws that treat everyone as a criminal or as an idiot before they even have the chance to commit the act.

I'm really curious. Downtown Windsor is getting so over-run by Americans every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night that its getting out of hand. I don't mind them coming over to have a good time, but alot of them are just completely disrespectful and always starting fights and just looking for trouble... acting like they own the fucking place.

Regardless, Do you not find it somewhat weird how certain big cities in the US have nothing much to offer for younger crowds, while others seem to have too much. Every time I passed through Sacramento I ask myself, "how could I ever live in this city if I wasn't at least 40?" The city just always seemed too quaint and cozy.

You're thinking of Detroit-Windsor not Buffalo-Windsor

Actually, I'm thinking of Buffalo-Windsor... I grew up in Windsor so I know that most of the people come from Michigan and Ohio. I was just curious if people from Buffalo make the trip down to spend the weekend in Windsor and take in the night-life. Windsor has become the place to party for Americans who are 19 - 23 and I was curious if it stretches as far as Buffalo.

I've never been to Windsor, and the only friends of mine from Buffalo that have, have gone there with my TO crew. I'll make it sometime this summer...probably near the end when Mark goes there to spin.

American cities are touch and go. Seriously, the only ones that I would really visit for a good party time are those that have an electronic music scene. Not just for that aspect, but because it's established that the cultural and musical diversity spans to wide ends of society.

Jay, WTF will it take for you to understand that I LIVE HERE AND SEE HOW IT IS ENFORCED.

And Boa is 21+, yet many who are <21 are let in, because they are not the "typical <21",

aaah sorry i was under the impression that you were saying this policy didnt exist.

But that begs a further question. Why post such controversial policies on a website and then not even bother to enforce them?

Jay, let's call it an "explicit deterrant". Just letting kids know they can get in trouble is implicit enforcement enough, and it also gives parents leverage - "jay you little prick, stay out of that fucking mall, because if you get arrested, i'm taking away your dildo collection!"

as for way it is not always enforced, well...have you ever been let go for speeding?
