as long as one of you is not in a position of power over one another....like there is no chance you will be her boss, or she will be yours...then it is ethically wrong.

also check company guidelines...they usually frown on it.

other than that, rock out with you...eh, socks out...

You mean if one is in a position of power over the other, then it's wrong....correct?

Anyways, like someone said above, sounds like you've got no chance with her.

right, so it is wrong to date someone with power over your job or position.

example here at school. The department secretary chick was bangin...I mean, dating this one student. The big deal was that she could change his grades. However since he was getting a 3.95, they didn't mind.

but something like teacher student...bad, even lab instructor student I guess is bad...

so boss worker, bad, or if she or you are in charge of raises or promotions..bad.

If it's ok in terms of work-policy, it's fine, why not.

However, in your case, seems like she's indirectly shrugging you off.

HOWEVER... if you ask her out to McDonald's, I think you can score...

Well if you do decide to see each other, it'll be cool if everyting goes OK, but if things start to go a bit Pete Tong, it could be really uncomfortable to go back to work. I guess you just gotta figure out how long you'll be working there, and if you're likely to stay together that long. Best of luck to ya anyways.

The greatest come-back of all time, going down at your local McDonalds.

I agree with steakfury

Personally I would not date a co-worker, that's one line I don't plan to cross. It could be fun, but the work environment while you date is different and then if you break up, alters the work environment. Personally I don't like it and most companies have rules against it.
