I wholeheartedly recommend exploring some of the "early" classics too. Goldie's "Inner City Life" is a fine example...
also, other productions helmed by Rob Playford at the time that formed the flux from hardcore to d 'n' b/jungle in the early 90s and such . . . another favorite of mine would have to be Photek's "Ni Ten Ichi Ryu". Daringly different, and makes you want to swing swords (not kidding). If you like the hectic, Squarepusher's "Come On My Selector" is a melodic, frentic, fun tune.
If you're into trance 'n' bass, you can't forget tracks like John B and dba's "Falling", or John B's "Blue Eyeshadow". Not to mention his "Electrostep" stuff... amazing hybrids.
