yeah, as someone just said, if you're into electronica, then geeting paid to spin at a nice club will be a lot of fun. getting paid to spin something else will be unpleasant work. i did the mobile DJ thing when i was like 12 with a PC just to see how playing music for a crowd would be. granted, it was crappy hip hop and stuff like that, and i was already an electronica-head, i hated it, but i learned a lot from the experience.

but i did that on my own. don't associate with people who feel "shady" at all, even lesss where there is money involved, and they have the power to fuck you over. because they will do it, and in the end, all you'll say it "damnit, i was right".

go to recess.co.uk, it's a beginners site, very good to explain a few things lightly. the other site mentioned is a lot more technical and complete, but could prove a bit heavy for a first timer.
