beckham screwed up the penalty, hitting it exactly where goalkeepers like them. low or high but not in the middle like that. The defender should have been sent off for the tackle, but so should david james for his dismal effort. i think it would dramatically improve england's chances is james was sent off and suspended.

Oh and zidane played an absolute shit game , did jack shit the whole game except take a very nice freekick, fair enough, and score a penalty (big woop, that's not hard), non existent in the first half due to lampard caining his arse, everytime he got snapped he had a little whingey look on his face

France are the biggest BS artists in world football...where the hell do they pull these wins from?

The game had echoes of the final when France came from 1-0 down with minutes left to eventually win the game 2-1 against Italy. I was close to tears.......

England was obviously outclassed.
It seems France perform best under extreme pressure, Zidane has a tendency to unleash during the dying minutes.

they are no doubt better , i still think england played the better. You can put it down to heskey and gerard for them not winning, not beckham or zidane
