I won't deny it might be possible, you can do some crazy stuff with vocoders but it'll be a proces of trial and error, analog synthesis will be way easier imo.

I guess U havent used vocoder. The carrier and the modulator are
the inputs (3 devices). Anyway heres my 5 minute effort modified
"Discovering Reason" rns file. Just to show the basic effect.

First of all I have, the one on my waldorf micro q but you need an INPUT signal so why would you bother messing up the input signal with a vocoder if you can do it with subtractive synthesis. Second, I don't use reason. I just think it's a lot easier to recreate the sound without a vocoder.

Coz I think its a "speaking synth" (vocoder effect). Armin was
counting numbers (99 98 97 96 95) and mixed his voice
with some of his synths.

By the way the standalone vocoder needs 2 inputs carrier and
modulator.

Can it be done in Reason?? Because those sounds are so fat!

All I do is use a subtractor with the initial patch, give it lots of resonance and automate the filter (you could use lfo1 for this too), add a distortion unit, some delay and reverb, eq it a bit and robert's your father's brother. That's basically it..
