I work in a dept that does exactly that in a bank. we help in the financing aspect. Let me tell you, its not 8 or 10 million. What the hell do you have in there???? GOLD.
In a more technical aspect, the most expensive thing in a club, is the location. Its pretty much a cash based business, once the cash starts rolling in, there is no end to it. Something like Lucid Lounge would be somewhere around 2 to 4 million tops!!!
Any of the average clubs on Peter & Richmond Street, your looking at a million if your buying it as it is. (based on size ofcourse). Most Clubs have a life span of a year or 2 years max anyway. But if your starting something new, somewhere around 500,000 to 750,000.
later | Yea, you've got a point. I've got a lot of friends in the construction industry and i know that something like an Eastside Marios for example, costs 750,000 - $1,000,000 to build from the ground up. This means taking a piece of land and erecting an entire building with trees and grass outside and a paved parking lot. As opposed to renting an old building and doing some renovations inside, which no matter how drastic, can't compare to building something from scratch.

are u asking how much would it cost to completely buy out the club? or just to get something started?
buying guv right now would cost you WAY more than 10 mil... |
The whole point of this would be the experience of building up a club, reputation and following so buying out an existing club is out of the question.
