Ah...you were at an angle behind the podium. Nice seeing those damn flood lights...haha! From far away it just looks like someone turned on the house lights, but people on that podium know that it is those damn flood lights right smack in front of them...blinding you! And with that damn cold air and fog blowing full force on you all at the same time...holy shit what an experience! Too bad you didn't have a recording of that. And of course the bass distorted your recording...hits that hard!
