I haven't been able to invite yet. The way it works: when Google decide that they want a new wave of new registrations they send to current members links with special codes that let to invite other people.

...and TweeK, yeah, I don't find email that exciting either. It must be for old people only.

Relevant point. Yahoo is heading off Google competition. Not many folks, yours truly included, have any need for 100mb of email since spam is filtered out and not even included in the count any more. I could see an opportunity in having the mb of attachments increased though, like sending an MP3?

Google has the same limit for attachments, 10 MB. Another interesting thing is that in an attempt to stop spreading of viruses no .exe files, even zipped, can be sent to a Gmail account.

Just got it today. Fuckin' AMAZING !

Beats everything else hands down. Unfortunately it still has some nasty bugs that really make it hard to use. Hopefully they will be fixed soon.

pretty sweet right there. right now i have a nutscrape.net email account that is limited to 5mb. if i were to take off for oh lets say 6 months. i could come back to see 1500+ spam emails at around 2k a piece. i hope having more space to store emails on the new yahoo accounts won't give spammers the go ahead to pile on more or even make them bigger in size. for hypothetical purposes i would imagine the spam mail would triple in size and quantity. that would be 16667 junk emails at max. cap. if left unnattended.

ok 10000+ in junk mail in a year or 2 may seem ridiculous but it could happen.
