You guys are complaining about suspensions? In Asia and Europe we GEt beats!! Fuck! I don't even wanna know waht they do in countries like Iran. Actually here is a story about an Iranian Friend I have. He had a broken arm and the teacher wacked him anyway.. on the broken arm. You guys are talking about sissy supensions and dress code here as a form of discipline. It doesn't work. If I was prime minister of this country I would give the pointing stick back to the teacher to use for other things ther than pointing. Then maybe we would have less 50 Cent/Eminem Wannabes.

On the other hand. People are so stressed out in this country and depressed that they would take advantage of the right to physically discipline children and teens. That is where IMO it becomes child abuse.

Man! I only needed a few beats in my life but by the time IW as 12 I understood why cause I saw the kids who weren't. Smoking swearing and basicaly have no future cause of the fact they did whatever they wanted. I, at that point, thanked my parents for the discipline they gave me. Otherwise I would not be who I am today because of it. But I only got it hard enough so that I feel it. I Was never bruised or antyhing like that. Well a little redness around my fingers but that is all.
