wow this was a sick night.

sasha threw down a fantastic set, very melodic
the track he played before apollo was MASSIVE

i met sasha and his manager, very cool guys.

i asked sasha about how people have been criticizing him for using cd's and computers to dj instead of vinyl, and he said it's just about what's coming through the fucking speakers. he also said that within a year or two all clubs will be outfitted with a computer in the dj booth which will be able to do really mindblowing shit.

i also called him out on pre-mixing on the road and he sort of dodged the question. i think he does it a little bit, but it's not like he records his whole sets beforehand.

i think it's wack that he doesn't play vinyl anymore, but i'll deal with it because his music is the best.

tonight at virgin will complete the june sasha trifecta

sasha's set was flawless.. i watched him mix the whole time.. and he did mix every track.. lots of melodic breaks, 80s style retro feel tracks with a modern twist.. played lots of tracks off involver.. and closed with this sasha & william orbit's unlreleased untitled slow bpm[about 90] track with rap lyrics strangely enuff... fantastik night overall... the a/x goodie bag was the shit.. talk about a free party... chat with steve porter a bit.. very nice guy.. not stuck up at all.. very 'normal'.. oh and sean cusick was drunk off his ass ! mooning ppl and ish..
