I had a pair of Sonys that it broke on one side and cracked on other side. I used epoxy as temp. solution and 9 months later, my buddy is still using them !! epoxy works magic .. I'm surprised no one has ever mentioned this .. I used to work at a computer repair shop and we'd use epoxy all the time to repair broken laptop plastic parts.

Yeah, this shit is solid if you don't want to go the duct-tape route and are looking for something that doesn't look hideous and can still function pretty well. I'm with you all the way.

I really don't see how epoxy is going to work. the metal that goes from the cup inside the band is broken. I don't think epoxy will be able to make it as sturdy as it was.

Well, i got in touch with sennheisser and no problem, i sent them back to them, and they will repair for free. Didn't even need a receipt!

I have to pay shipping to them, and they will ship back.

Now the bad news. I sent them out over a month ago, and still haven't gotten them back. I called the other day, and they said they don't currently have any headbands to fix them with, and no new ones on the shelves either. Then the guy said they JUST got in the headbands while i was on the phone with him.

anyway, true or not, he said "your headphones should be there in a few days"

tommorow will be one week since he said that, and it will be the day i call and start getting pissed off.

I have been without my headphones and unable to spin without boring my friends cans for over a month now!

(BTW, sorry about the pics in the first page, i overwrote them with pics from a party i went to, looks pretty sweet eh?)

Do the new parts look any different than the old ones? Mine are about to break as the cracks are getting bigger. I hope they make the parts stronger when I send them in for repairs.
