I saw this movie yesterday, and I loved it. Not only did he prove everything he said with written evidence/interviews and things that bush himself has said.. as well as all the ties, and buisnesses involved involucrating all of bush's buddies that are now spread all over Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia.
If you LOVE bush, and from everything that has come out, and has resulted onto what Iraq is now and all the other problems involved, then this movie might just be a light for you to see and really open up your eyes ( but for some hardheaded peeps it just wont do obviously, perhaps.. to hard to accept reality and live in a dream? hehe ). People call it pure fiction and crap.. but the sad thing is, IT IS NOT fiction, and by calling it fiction, then IM really scared if every american thinks that way.. but thank god not, it received a hand clapping ovation, in the biggest theater, and sold out. Go see the movie.. and if you find it redicule, well, go and have a laugh, and maybe that could open up ur brains a bit.

There have been numerous debates on TV about this movie.
The handclapping ovation. Well as was pointed out on most shows a large majority of the people going to see the movie hated bush before they walked in the theater, it doesn't mean its a great movie, but rather that the people watching it liked it because it fed their hatred of bush.
Fiction or facts.
Its most definetely facts, as all his films are but the problem is many times he takes things out of context and uses these moments which could be used for two separate viewpoints as his own viewpoint. So yes many things are facts but he manipulates the facts to his advantage. He is smart for doing this, I'm sure someone would do the same in a pro Bush movie.
When I see it I will take it as I will, knowing that Moore stretches and manipulates fact and that he isn't unbiased but extremely biased with the sole intention of removing Bush from office. Perhaps instead of just showing the bad side of Bush he should have shown the good sides of Kerry if he wanted to really change the public's perception at the polls.

Yeah, i watched the late showing last night. 12:30 in the morning was an excellent opportunity for people watching. After reading most of the stated objections from the right regarding this movie and actually watching it, i can say that the points subject to scrutiny were only placed there as a punch line to indisputable facts. comedic relief, per say.
I don't know who to pitty more, the groups who feel this is discredited political fiction or the groups who feel this is an honest journalistic documentary. For the film was neither... Moore did a brilliant job skating that line the whole movie. For every example of Bush's idiocy, there was an unreasonable stated expectation of the "proper" plan of action necessary for a good administration. But that's the luxury of his position. It's easy to be a back-seat driver when no-one knows where to go, only to realize that the driver took a wrong turn a couple miles back. He's only pulling the "i told you to turn left at the light" bullshit.(when driving, i hate that guy )
All on all, I enjoyed the flick, and have no regrets spending the $7.50 on it. I have plans to go see it in a few weeks after some of the hype has died, as so I can grasp a better perspective on where Moore's coming from (I'll sneak in next time )

If you're a regular listener of "talk radio" shows, then you most likely heard the interview between Jonathan Kemriley and Canadian talk-radio host Rachel Hints of Canadians Unleashed 670, so this story won't be news to you, but if you didn't hear the interview, then you won't believe what you're about to read!
Jonathan Kemriley, a retired US Marine, came onto the show to discuss the Canadian government's handling of two US military men who found refuge in Canada in order to not serve in Iraq, but the topic changed rather quickly. Below you can read a portion of the interview:
"Mrs. Hints, yes, the Canadian government is in the wrong here, but more importantly it's because those two men are scared of having their heads removed by Al-Qaeda cell members in Saudi, and I think that's a damn shame. I for one going to take a stand against these brutal beheadings by flying myself and my 14 and 17 year old sons with me to Saudi Arabia on Thursday of this week. Once in Saudi Arabia we're going to find a way to be taken in as hostages by Al-Qaeda groups.
Rachel Hints:
"What on Earth are you talking about sir?"
Jonathan Kemriley:
"These terrorists need to understand that Americans are not scared of their tactics, and most importantly I don't want my sons to be frightened of the world in which we live in.
My goal is to make sure that these savages capture us and give the US government 24 hours notice to release us in exchange for prisoners....If my plan is carried out correctly, after the 24 hours are up, my two boys and I will have been decapitated.... I want those savages to see the smiles on the faces of my boy's and I as they're cutting our heads off from our bodies. It will be the biggest slap in their faces that they'll ever receive. And I guarantee that not another US citizen will ever be taken hostage by this group ever again."
Rachel Hints:
"Sir, no offense, but that is the craziest, most ridiculous thing I have ever heard."
Jonathan Kemriley:
"You just don't get it do you. Well the terrorists will 'get it' when they read the phrase on my shirt, which will be written in Arabic, "Do me a favor you savages, remove my head from the top of my neck, I bleed red, white, and blue. The stock market isn't going anywhere!'
Rachel Hints:
"So if I'm hearing you correctly, and I really hope I'm not, but you want yourself, and your young boys to be murdered."
Jonathan Kemriley:
"In the name of the USA, you better believe it".
*yea saudi arabia's head govt allows this and is having a tea party with bush as we speak watching these beheadings on a 60 inch big screen tv**
