Conservatives and Communists are pretty much polar opposites.

Besides that though, I've already voted Conservative at an advance poll. I don't agree with a lot of what the Conservatives stand for, but I agree less with the Liberals, NDP and Green.

The reason I voted Conservative didn't even seem to be an issue in this election. Simply, the Conservatives are the only party that will be beneficial to our economy. They'll cut corporate tax, while the NDP wants to raise it to finance their social programs, and the Liberals will uhhhhh... well, it's always hard to say what the Liberals will do once their elected. Ultimately though, I'd really like to vote for a party that has a similar economic view to the Conservatives, but supports human rights like abortion and gay marriage. Hopefully we'll see a rise to a Canadian Libertarian party sometime soon.

I voted Conservative at the advanced polling for that reason as well. I don't agree with everything they stand for, but I think that they are the, for the lack of a better term, "best of the worst".

All I can say is, if there is a God, I pray he'll save this country from another Liberal government. And in the painful possibility that they do win, I pray it's not a majority government.

As for Farenheit 9/11, I'm about as interested in that as I am in every other piece of crap Michael Moore shits out. Another TA sent me a great critique of that movie; I'll let him make the call on whether or not to post it. Please DON'T see that movie before voting unless you're also willing to take a cursory look at the numerous essays on how horribly fabricated the entire thing is. Telling people to see that movie before an election is like telling someone to watch Law and Order before going on Jury duty.
