Politicians just cant win can they. I think the whole war on Iraq was the right thing to do. Obviously I feel sorry for the women made widows because of it, but whether or not we found WMD or not, Saddam had them. He's used them before and would use them again, and so it was right to invade Iraq and eliminate the threat of him using them.

Of course, such actions are always going to have repercussions. There is always going to be some elitist groups that oppose every decision made by anyone. These groups will only respond to courage, and so they need to be dealt with. Sooner or later they will learn that threatening to behead people because they're unhappy with a country's politcal ties is simply not acceptable. Bush and Blair did the right thing IMO, and I dont see why they should be frowned upon for doing what they thought would make the rest of the world safer.

Bush may not be the brightest candle on the cake, but that's why he's got his many legions of handymen.
