It's ironic that your status is "tranceaddict" then.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary

Hey man,

Well, I have more faith in TA than that I registered on TA before most people have even heard of it (look to the left -- April 2001).

I think it's great to expose people to new music. Hopefully this chart will do that -- it might expose people to a couple new music genres they might not be familiar with.

Gentlemen, let's be civil. The TA vs. GU thing is never gonna get better if people keep fueling the flame.

u trance fuckwits are soo pigeonholed.

there are many genres out there other then trance and prog. and for the record i listen to anything thats good; electro, funky, deep, techy, progressive, clicky, whatever house, even some breaks.

trance has gone down the shithole for years now, nothing innovative, new, fresh. now mark my words, im not some prog elitest, im fucking far from it. prog has its disadvantages too.

now this really isnt related to the topic but i fucking hate dj's that play one genre the whole time! how boring is that? i can't possibly understand how you guys can like tiesto, armin, pvd and the like. i mean doesn't that shit get old? what do you get from it? goosebumps?

really..

get out of your tiesto / armin / pvd / insert lame artist here worshipping phase and listen to the good music out there! there are many dj's right now that are pushing the boundaries of music such as desyn masiello, luke fair, etc.

how one can sit down, listen to a set from someone such as desyn, luke, sander or what not and still enjoy tiesto?

fuck if i know.

people have different opinions than you. some people can enjoy a set by a trance DJ even though they listen to 95% prog / tech house.

like you said yourself, listen to what's good. just because you hate the shit doesn't mean everyone else has to.
