Hey everyone!
Just wanted to put my feedback into this before all you guys start wildin . . .
The area overall is not . . . . . .bad. It's a lot safer than the area where Cubik and Dream is. TRUST ME. So if you feel comfortable parkin on the streets in southeast DC where Cubik is, you'll have no problem here. The pics really make the place GHETTO, but trust me, I'm workin on my photography skillz and that was my intention and that was the vibe I was feeling my first time there and so it reflected through the pictures.
Insomnia where Glow used to be was near the MCI center and there were bars and restaurants walking distance away for you to get ur pregame on. Not at the new place. I saw a couple Chinese carry out places and that's about it.
The exterior does look really shady but Pete said in a coupla weeks, sidewalks are going to be fixed, and the entrance will be "did." However, he said the interior is MASSIVE. So I am thinking there is a basement and if that's the case . . .. OMFG. . . ..
The parkin situation is basically OMFGIDIESOHARD. There is a medium lot right next to the place, and TWO HUGE lots 1-2 blocks away. Paved, very brightly lit, and fenced in. The sign I saw said that they charge $8 but who knows how much it'll go up when the club opens. Since there is a Greyhound station close by, I'm not sure if it's a private lot for their customers. . . .but i don't think it is, hardly anyone parks for Greyhound. Seriously though, after paying $27 for parking in NYC, $8 is a dream come true for me and you would be foolish to not park there.
And please Z, dont jack me car!!
