Whatever we have to do to get rid of these barbarians that have infested our world...

The Afganistan goverment and the way of life there is actually considered to have one of the worst human terrosities in the world.... the laws and they way they run that country is out right disgusting.......i recently seen a video of a home video ..showing that this women wanted to leave her husband....well for that the Afganistan police/military too her out side told her to get on her knees and shot her execution style..front of everyone....these are common things that happen so much in this country...and my views is governemtn like this should be eliminated!!!...

why are all these afganistan people supporting now the Taliban now after knowing us might go to war with afganistan ...for us going in there and taking that government out would be a huge favor for them!! Innocent people dieing is part of War...happenes no matter how sick it is its part of war..and well we asked for Bin ladin and well they refuse so if innocent people die its Taliban issues not ours...we have to do something about our situtaion...and for the the people getting mad cuz innocent people might be getting killing will dont blame us blame the governement of afganistan or who ever helps these terrosits out..... If that country would have more love for its people they would hav eno envolvement with these terrorist!! so im sorry people will die but its something we have to go in there and get these settled..... so blame the government of afganistan for not releaseing Bin Ladin cuz they could of made it much easier on them selfs........ It just sucks that they are so hard headed i guess ohh well ...after this is done taliban wished they have giving him up...and the end beleive methe people from afganistan will be better off......and what we will do to afganistan is minor compared to if that happened to any other country...i think we as americans care about other people feelings and how they are more then most countries.... if aganistan bombed Russia or China and killed that many people as they did here in the US...beleive me they are less libral about other peoples feelings and they would of Demolished aganistan the first hint of knowing they were involved...so be grateful for americans to be liberal in overall thinking cuz otherwise that country would of been a huge excurvation site already!!

well i know we all want to see revenge, but i think this political analyst on CNN put it best:

"We're not going to send a 1 million-dollar missile over there to blow up a 14 dollar tent!"

I dont support the bombing of the whole country, but i also don't support a ground war, which would mean a draft... So if bombs be necessary, so be it!

I agree totally with the afgani-american.
Ive been discussing all this stuff abouth the areican response with people. I have heard about the taliban and the situation in Afganistan.
I think the Taliban and Osama BinLadin both were in on the terror attacks. The death of the leader of the Northern Alliance is also a part of the plan i think. The Rules the Taliban set up are incredible. No woman is allowed to be educated in Afganistan adn No-one is allowed to have a computer. The whole country IS living in the stone0age yeah. and that about the widows is inhumane.

The Northern Alliance says it will help the US in a ground Troop effort. And so will PAkistan. I believe this will be the only way to fight and find the Core of the terrorist cells. Osama Bin Ladin is being protected by the Taliban No Doubt. But make no mistake about it() This will be a war on the Taliban and not on Afganistan and the Islam. We just need to hope that it wont end up as the West vs. Islam. That would end peace anywhere, cause all over the world now there are tensions because all over the world Muslims live along side Christians and etc.
W. has to take it very easy on the response and take it very tactically and very cautiously cause if he makes the wrong decision it might mean the end of mankind. cause dont forget Iraq still might be in on the plot. and Saddam is said to be able to destroy the world many times with his weapons. And once is enough!

My way: Dont BOMB Afganistan. Send in troops not only under the US name but under the world cause this is a world matter. NATO, the UN, and all other countries incl China and Russia should join in in the search for Bin LAdin and the annihilation of the Taliban. (the UN only recognises the Northern Alliance as the rightfull Afgan Government) And start the sweep of terrorism. Show em the world aint gonna take this any more.

And its not true that the only way to get in Afganistan is through Pakistan China an Russia Border It and they give their co-operation adn so does the Northern Alliance so with al these forces combined victory is certain. We just have to show the rest of the Islamic world and the Western World who the bad guys are. And That is the Islamic and anykind of wrongful oppressor like The Taliban.

Very quality post ..... the opinions of everyone on this board are so interesting as we are all so different.

General idea is that the US should and probably will not pursue a action that would cause innocent people to get hurt. Think about it, this will end up like the gulf war. We striked MOST targets with amazing accuracy and disabled a decent enemy in one shot. Our technology is so advanced and ready and VERY WILLING to go over there and destroy anything they throw at us! Im not worried about an amazing amount of american lives there, but here ... lets hope that was the last attack and nobody steps up in osama's place. Hes more then a man hes an idea .. a philosophy .. hes just a fuckin religous zealot but he will not be alive for too long.


I think personally iraq had something to do with this, if u read recent news...we will locate and find osama with or without the help of the taliban, i see his life ending when they find him and drop him a nice lil present in the lap in the form of a 2000 pound laser guided bomb.
