Orbax you really could do the film....picture it...you on your motorbike then suddenly Oddjob comes out and instead of throwing his hat he throws a softball that just misses your head!

Rowen Atkinson Sorry he'll always be Mr Bean to me

I can't think of any British actors who'd fit the part tbh.

(applauds JayD btw)

I dunno. All the newer Bond movies blow. I have to go back to Sean Connery time to find a Bond movie that i actually enjoy.

Whoever the actor, he would have to have a good British accent. Johnny Depp could do it, but he is too good of an actor to do these new age Bond movies that have the stupidest plots and weakest acting.

mel gibson??? bruce willis? lol umm no
those guys are good in those typical, american type action/cop movies (die hard, leathal weapon). not the bond movies...

someone more refined, like Jude Law...

I think someone with an actual knowledge of acting should do it. Find a British man well known in the theatre scene and set him up. Im sick of real actors like Samuel L Jackson and Sir Ewan Mckellen being replaced by dumbshits like Julia Stiles and Ben Afleck.

Movies are turning into the same "pop" culture shit that our music is these days.

yea yea.. i know mel has made a name for himself..but i dunno, i just can't see him as a james bond..

and orbax, i agree. anyone can friggin act these days. it's the whole reality show phase. every day people are famous for that bullshit...it's taking away from the real talent in hollywood and the screenplay writers.

They should find someone that isn't too well known. I know the whole idea is to use an actor to increase the interest in a movie (as well as choosing the right actor for the part), but in this case I think the name "Bond" speaks for itself. I honestly cannot think of anyone off the top of my head that I think would be suited for the role. The actor should definitely have a refined presence about him.

Orlando is a good actor. He might be too young for the role though.

boy...i'm sorry, but there are some horrible suggestions here...

the whole point of James Bond is he is supposed to be one...British...two...sauve and charismatic. it has to be a british dude.

Brosnon was a fantastic bond...he had everything the role was meant to portray just like connery.

i'm not that familiar with that many british actors, but i'll say right now if anyone of the people listed so far were the next bond...the role would be destroyed.

anyway, i guess i can't talk much unless i post a name right? so really the only good male british actor i know of (i'm sure their more) that i could possibly think might be able to fill the role would be

Colin Firth

my ex-girlfriend has a huge crush on him hehehe...
