Bah....I want to go...but I can't handle a drive to and from the city again this afternoon.......I drank too much last night and the squirrel needs to get some actual rest and go to bed at like 7 pm.

for those of you who didn't go to this - you missed a great sunday afternoon of friends, food and music. the guest dj's were of course, tripwire, mazi, little mike and ty tek. all of them got there in the afternoon and when i got to the bbq around 6 pm, they were all playing sand volleyball. nice to be able to hang out with dj's in a very relaxed atmosphere.

everyone was a little tired at first, but after a few beers and some food - things started to pick up. the guest dj's went on around 7 pm (breaking up the volleyball game ) and had most of the crowd moving all night long. the atmosphere was great - because you could talk above the music without yelling and just sit outside on a beautiful sunday afternoon relaxing with a bottomless cup of beer or sangria.

i didn't think i could dance anymore on sunday, but the grooves being spun by the dj's got me up and dancing and now my legs ache from the weekend. i'm not sure that i recovered, but it was a damn good time.

great ending to a great weekend

really great time last nite. a perfect way to end almost an entire week full of partying. i don't know how they can call it rest, relax, and recover though since i ended up drinking more than recovering . it was pretty chilly when i first got there around 8pm, but a few drinks warmed me up nice. played one game of volleyball and won hehe. those burgers they were serving up were ginormous! good stuff. the beats def had the crowd going, and it was nice background music for those just hanging out and chatting away. can't wait til the next RRR BBQ.
