long ass comment. seems like a nice guy but i think he tries too hard. sounds like the guy just got married rather than played a gig. boa sounds like a great club and really seems like its building a reputation for itself. I definitely cant wait to check it out when i come back. it sounds like it has a real montreal underground feel to it.

Seems to me that the guy does what he does, because he loves it. Because he feels somehow blessed with this ability to get people dancing...in a scene where most DJ's are after the money, or the headlines, it's great to see an old skool legand take the time out to let his people know just how much he appreciates being the man who is the source of their enjoyment.
Top marks to Danny T for not only for being a world class DJ, but also a down to earth music lover who truly appreciates all his fans

In all seriousness: I think his post is pretty awesome. I wish AvB or Tiesto or the like came here after a TO party and posted words about their enjoyment of the event.
Kudos to DT for being a great entertainer and taking the time to share his thoughts.

In truth, i ended up at DT at around 8am after the KH party.
While I had fun- as Ritchie Hawtin and Sven and magda managed to scratch my techno itch xo, when i walked into Boa the atmosphere was totally different. There was a communal feel to the club and the sound... well, KHs sound system doesnèt deserve mention when compared to Boa. I canèt say enough about the staff. From the door staff to the wait staff to the coat check staff- everything was and has been tre friendly. They even let us in for half the regular thicket price which i think is fair. I regret leaving the party at 11 thinking we could be back at 4 to see DT play till six.
I think the above points make BOA what it is.
I am very glad to see that Toronto can be a scene for long parties. Maybe we will see more of this madness soon, I for one will not leave early again, evar! Heartfelt post such as Dts hopefully go a long way in reinforcing loyalty from the party-goers. His post also goes a long way in promoting BOA as a world class venue for a good time.
Keep it up BOA- finally a place where i can go without being hit on or grabbed or oogled
two thumbs up.. fer sure.
