I don't think one's political affiliations need reflect one's personal taste in music. While you may be less likely to see a conservative person at a rave, jumping around with glowsticks, acting like an idiot(Yeah, I've done that too), the music itself is not restricted to raves and liberals only. I think there must be an assumption going on that conservatives tend to be stodgy old men or something!
