Yeah, but don't worry much about that. Msn will be getting an update on the mac real soon

so I guess mac has solved all your problems!? heh, but I know what you mean. I' could never use any mac unless it's for flash, illustrator, indesign, final cut pro.. and I would never use a pc for those type of apps anyway!! EVER!
with software like motion, shake, and dvd studio pro... omg! I'm lucky enough since one of my highschool teachers is a MACaddict and I get to test these new releases as soon as they're released! it's great.. anyways.. yup, designers rule!

I just got an iMac recently. Having used PCs my whole life, it was a bit of a change..actually I'm still getting used to it. Its an awesome machine..and the design...u just can't beat that.
I do miss the Pc at times, but for everyday regular use, its perfect.

I have photoshop, illustrator and flash on my PC, if for some reason I need to design something while I am on it, it seems wrong. I definitly don't like using these programs on a PC. I don't like going on msn, or playing games on a mac.

fn_xtc, you honestly have absolutly no contact with a pc, and can do everything you usually would do on your computer? They are both so different and cannot replace eachother in my eyes.

If you or anyone else is interested in purchasing anything from Apple....go to www.apple.ca and log in to the student area (if you are in college or university) and you can get some sweet discounts

it depends what you'll use it for.

I mean it's fine, processor is still good. hdd is probably at 4200rpm?
but then again it shouldn't matter depending on your plans for it.

but yeah, the price for it is acceptable I'd say.

as long as you're not a hardcore gammer,
you should be pretty pleased with it!

For those who miss PC and are using Mac, just get a copy of Virtual PC. it's the closest thing and does most all needs for PC emulation.

BUt yea... all the computers at my college were Apple G4 or G5 machines. I came to love them and wanna get one. but the $$$ is a problem no doubt

G5 is solid gear man.

Me - I will never buy a decktop system again, and frankly I'm not all that impressed with non-Apple notebook/laptops.

No other manufacturer has been able to squeeze as much juice into such a small package and make it look so damn beautiful in the process. Powerbooks rock.
