To tell the truth i own str8-100's and there perfect for a home setup to learn on, cuz they make it alot easer when your playing out. works on your vinil controll loads cuz the startup time of the record isint any slower then on tecs its just the plater require a lighter touch, which in the end helps you mixe better cuz your not pushing down on the plater as much and it will also help with the needel skiping. yeah, except for the fact thatit's better to have the curved tonearm for mixing. the str8 series is a lot beter for scratching.
