tu-face that was hella funny but i think we've digressed off topic. well pink lolly i haven't had any formal dance training. i've always loved to dance ever since i was a kid and people have always told me that i'm a good dancer. but it seems that dancing is all about attitude. would you agree? i mean i'll admit that i don't really know what i'm doing but i just act like i do and people seem to enjoy it. kinda odd. i tried taking ballroom classes but we had to keep switching partners and i was spending more time getting used to the different partners than learning how to dance. and i did dance in my university's hawaiian luau with the hawaii club. samoan slap dancing is fun. other than that just regular old street dancing. breaking and popping at 11yrs, liquid at 18yrs, and trying to master glowsticks currently. got nunchuks down. strings next. but i understand how you feel when you dance. ultimate rush. you've got to see billy elliott.

At the begining of this year I never danced, now I'm one of the first people out on the floor. It's so easy to move to electronica : ) I've never had any formal training aside from the stuff in gym class and from friends (some of who have had all the formal training) I use to be all about the glowsticks, but now.... one night all the foot work clicked, the drops and spins fell into place. It was like being in a game where I just jumped to the next level. All that I previously new was left behind, I can still do my glowstick stuff but nothing like I use to. So now I'm learning all new moves : ) Started practing my poi too. Must be an all around raver. But I feel I'm at the point now where I don't need the added light to draw attention to myself. I still carry around my micro lights for light shows, but I haven't really touched a pair of glowsticks in about a month. God I love to dance, makes me wonder why I never did it before. Nothing like walking down the halls at work liquiding, every once and a while droping or breaking out a spin. Everyone around the office has become pretty acoustomed to it.

Do any of you all play stop-light-disco? when your driving along and you come to a stop light, put the car in park (the most important thing) turn the music up, yell stop-light-disco! everyone gets out and dances till the lights turns green : ) The look on other drivers faces is priceless I tell you, try it sometime : )

When I lived in Hawaii, we used to call this thick purple paste that tasted like........paste, poi. hehe I think *poi* is glowstick-string, you know, when you twirl the glowsticks like weapons.

I tooked modern, jazz, and ballet when I was litte (6th & 7th grade), then completely stopped dancing. Until I discovered raves, which lead me to learn house and finally breaking. Now i teach breakdancing and house step at all the clubs.

I love to dance If I learned the monkfish, I'd rep the states for you tu_face. hehe
