(not many cd decks have this function, its a reverse function, but jumps the tune back to where it would have been had you not pressed it), phaze + more... start/stop speed adjustment (as in like a brake adjustment on a deck, it slows the tune down slower or faster), touch sensetive jog-wheel.

at the end of the day, the cdj100 will probably last longer, but other than that IMO the axis9 is just better value for money for a low-end cd deck.

sounds good , plus dont forget that this equipment is so expensive in our country , for exp:
the pcv-180 costs £225.00 in the uk (1240 NIS) , Here it costs £410!!! (2250 NIS) , the cd-100's £265.00 - uk (1460 NIS),
and ofcourse here it costs £380 (2100 NIS) , so its impossible to find here a nice quality equipment in a nice price

about the numark axis 9 , the price difference is not a big deal
the question is , does it worth it?
i mean all the extra things that tu face mentioned is a big diffrence?
and about the quality , is it good as pioneers?

i think it is a big difference, because the cdj100 is so bare & the effects are the worst choice they could have made out of the pioneer effects units. i would chose it purely for the scratch start (stutter start REALLY gets on my tits) & touch sensetive jog wheel if nothing else

as i said, the pioneer will be a bit more heavy duty and will ultimatly have better build quality. but at the end of the day when you are buying low end equipment, 9/10 you will be upgrading your setup after a year or so. if the axis9 doesn't last that year, take the thing back on the warranty

plus i forgot to mention about the beatkeeper III in the axis9. it is widely regarded as the best beat counter on the market, which means the beat effects and seamless (smart) loops are fantastic!

to conclude: you can do a whole load of crazy shit with the axis9 that you couldn't even dream of doing using a cdj100
