Yes, i would take a Vestax pcv 175 over any behringer mixer, anyday. If possible you should try to go for the Vestax pcv 275, it has a few extra features that may be important to you. If not the pcv175 is a fine mixer, especially for a begginer. Oh yeah, and there is one common problem with the pcv 175. The blue paintjob may wear off around places that its touched alot (around the faders) obviously this doesnt affect the performance, so its no big deal at all.

Just got my DJX700 back the other day from the folks that they contract to fix them. Im giving it to my friend cuz I was not satisfied at all. So hes getting a refurbished 700 for 100 bucks, and I bought a DJM-3000 in the meantime. Much better and def worth the cash.

If you have the money to buy the PCV, definitly. If you don't... get the VMX300 of Behringer. I certainly don't recommend the DJX'es.
