Here are a few rising stars who I'm sure will make a big impact:
Markus Shultz
Filo & Peri
Pig & Dan (Not sure if they dj)
I hope there's a new #1, but I expect Tiesto to be at the top again. A big release with his 'Just Be' album, and a very successful tour will be hard to top.

honestly ... do not vote for Tiesto
Vote for who you truely belive is #1 DJ. IMO Paul van Dyk should of been #1 a long time ago.

Since were on the topic of Armin, I've seen him 4 times and hes the by far my 3rd fav trance DJ. As for the DJ poll, every single year I noticed that all the top 5 or 4 at least trance DJ's are there...For some reason I'm starting to think that trance is just too mainstreamed, well its gotten too mainstreamed over the past couple years, if you ask me and its the most recognized EDM genre. It's just really too bad that their isn't enough quality tracks since its so popular

Armin #1 & PVD a close second!
Tiesto's productions are nice, but his mixes just don't have an effect on me like they used to.

dude trance kicks ass and there are sooo many good tracks out there i just dont think you are listening to the right ones, start listening to more live sets.
tiesto used to be big when he revolutionnized the scene with Trance energy 2000
IMO..its all over now
i still dont get it....why those dj's are so popular....
shouldnt it be a contest about talent rather than....popularity
and why the hell are these guys so well known
whateva......it'll never gonna change
