I HURT very much right now........

I was there til the lights came on man!!!!!!!

I might as well tell the story as to why i hurt. So i went to Boa to start off my Saturday night, and was to meet my friend (and fellow TA tyson) who is from London. They were running a little late, so i chatted it up with Rony for a few (good to see you my friend!). I was getting a little impatient so went back to my car to see if i missed any calls. No missed calls, its now 1:35. So thinking maybe they went to the Guv instead, i hop into my car, and who do i see walkin down the street - yeah, tyson. Bastard. So i pull a u-ee, park, and proceed to Boa with Tyson, his co-worker (Rene), Rene's gf, and her friend. Now keep in mind these girls are used to top 40 clubs, and i dont think they knew what they were walking into. So we get inside Boa to hear Mr. Miller warming up the night, like only he can do! Great stuff. Then - came the bitching. "I dont like it here" "Its too dark in here" "We cant drink in here". Jesus. First time i actually thought about sluggin a girl. So after about an hour of non-stop bitching, i couldnt take it anymore and my night at Boa was cut VERY short. Pissed off, but still wanting to party, the girls wanted to go to The Guvernment, so we went.

Entered the Kool Haus around 3:00 to see Pete Tong (i believe just getting on the decks), and find out Danny Howells came on early. I was pissed. So went to the Guv, mega packed at this point, and very hot. I was expecting it, so i aint gonna start bitchin. Hung out on the stage with various TA's (the regulars), special mention must go out to my girls Erika and Tara. You ladies are scrumptious. Had a nice chat with those who were on stage, and proceeded to the Kool Haus again to kool off and achieve some space on the dancefloor.

Pete Tong is playing some GREAT tracks as we enter and the place is going completely off. Then comes the mix - Ba duh, ba duh, ba duh (trainwreck). Ouch. Ok, so ill give him the benefit of the doubt - one bad mix right?? Next track comes on - WICKEDDDDDD TRACK. Then the mix - Ba duh duh, ba duh duh. Oh man that is rough. This guy wouldve been better off throwing a 5 disc changer on the stage and hitting random. Great tracks, ill give him that. But holy fuck. Back to mixing school Petey. Please. No flow what so ever either. At one point he went from an Electro track, to trance, then to techno, then prog. Huh? So back to the Guv.

Scumfrog was KILLING IT at this point. Digital drummy layering, the voice-overs, and his overall presence was felt througout the room. Hes more like a rock star than a dj, just total vibe when he goes off. From 6:00am til close (7:15), he played his best shit. Completely dirty and dark. The place went off when he dropped that track (Nat- please ID) with the vocals "Were gonna be so HIGHHHHHHH" (or something like that). He played it at Boa last time as well. Track of the night though - was the one he played just before that rock track he closed with. Ive heard it before, almost a Mauro Picotto/ Sven Vath sound. Jesus. The place was jumping like they all had fresh legs and it was 7am. Great set by the Frog. Blew my mind once again.

Hopped in my car, drove off to Timmy's, XL triple triple and a choc chip muff. Me and Ty get back to my place, play a little Tiger Woods golf (back to back hole in ones) then throw my suit on, get to work, and start this thread "i hurt". Now you all know why.

Sounds like you had fun. I've only been to the guv once, but I thought it was awesome, and I can't wait to go again. (Have to wait 'till I get a fakey, or turn 19 in April )

Well anyways, when I do go again, I will make sure I let everyone know because I would love to meet everyone! And then with good luck, I will hurt the next day too (It's always more fun when you hurt the next day.)

No, it's more like you always know it was fun when you hurt the next day. But the hurting is never fun... You'll learn that fairly quickly.

Good, I was afraid when I left the stage to do some cruising, that you'd puss'ed out and left. I left bout 7am tho, as my late arrival time led to some very illegal parking, and I didn't wanna wait too long and risk a tow the same way I risked a $450 ticket. That I still am clueless how i got out of. But Jessie was only on till 7:15 right? So I don't feel TOO bad.
