The problem of the American verion is that they got the whole Ringu trilogy and merged into less than 90 minutes of pure tension - from the first minutes to the end, they're annoyingly tense to the point you get used to it. The Japanese version knows when to release the tension (even because Japanese films are quite slow anyway), and it drops the unnecessary level of swearing/harshness from the American version (it seemed they would all kill each other anyway).

yeah that is true, but i actually liked the high tension all the time. but i was probably just too impatient when i watched the japaneese version, cause really, i have never seen a hollywood movie that is better than the original

We have..in Oakenagan, up in the interior of British Columbia, there is Oakenagan Lake where Ogopogo resides, which is some stupid sea monster..i could have sworn i once saw this big weird bump just arise in the water, perhaps to small to be a sinking boat (?) and to large to be a wave..although..i dont belive that shit..

there is the LEGANDARY..Downtown EastSide, Vancouver, BC!!

and...

there is a legend that this crack head living by my house used to be some amazing musician..this legendary guitar player or some shit..its fucking scary..its this house thats completly boarded up and there are all these little kids toys in the backyard that the guy burns for some reason...
but we were once standing in a circle in this alley at night by my house, and this guy come and just joins us in this circle and pulls out his pipe and loads some rock into it..he goes on and tells us this story where he used to be a bassist for some legendary 70's rock band...i dont know very many rock bands from then (other than the basics: rolling stones, zepplin, etc but he would tell stories of his rock star days..

we have tried searching for anything involving him..but we never bothered to ask him many questions..thats at least a myth and legand in my neighborhood..every now and then the guy walks around with his cow boy hat on, tweaking out and yelling and picking up rocks of the ground n shit..like normal earth rocks...weird ass shit
