1.) Look out for Godzilla.
But seriously though i'm sure he's indulging his fetishes to the fullest.

well- some good responses. yours specifically- lots of insights.
some good news and some not so good news- really want to go, so I should suck it up and do the work to get there huh but the uncertainty.... discouraging all the same.
Good News:
-to meet like minded TAs and others.
-encouragement from literally Everyone i have talked to
- Information on Nova, Geos,Aeon, ECC- foreign teacher employment agencies.
-knowing that the party scene is alive an well in Tokyo.
Bad News
-warnings from some Japanese websites( expats who live there)that it can be quite difficult if one ends up there at the wrong timev ie jobs not available.
-advise to bring about 5000US with me if i do not have a job lined up
-**** need for a completed undergrad, I have 9 months to go to wrap this Undergrad up. apparently i can find a job there without one but its advisable to get one tho., I want to leave SOON- and doing courses part-time as i have to work fulltime makes it merely impossible to finish up sooner. Currently signed up for ESL certification in September ( good sign as it shows interest )
Ideally leave in Jan 2005 and COmplete undergrad parttime-correspondence courses as i have only 3 electives to finish up.
-WTF , suddenly my 15 year of business experience and training people at work is of no use to anyone in Tokyo.
So thats where it stands now. Inquiries have been sent to many agencies, universities, individuals etc. waiting for all the information to come back to me so more decisions can be made.
