WHEN IT COMES TO WORK, are you a leader or a follower? And i mean this literally: in other words, a manager wouldn't be considered a leader since he's following the owner. He could however, be considered an aspiring leader. You get the picture. Now stop being lazy and vote
Also, the 'leader, used to be follower' option doesn't apply to summer jobs and the like. So if you graduated and went on to open a law practice, but worked in McDonalds during the summers while studying, select the 'leader, always have been' option. |
This is retarded - you assume that only managers are leaders in an organization. If no one else was a leader, only the manager, then the manager would have to micromanage everything. Leadership is not about micromanagement, it is enlisting employees with independent responsibilities of their own and giving them freedom to take initiative on their own.
Leadership is apparent at ALL levels of an organization. In my job, yes, I am a leader. I am responsible for projects, process improvements, department education initiatives - all of which require leadership. Am I a manager? No.
