Camera phones have good things and bad things about them. They are convenient because you never know when you will come acrossed something that you want to take a picture of, and you carry your phone around more than your camera.

They can be used in bad ways though, such as invading peoples privacy.

When I was in school back when the camera phones first came out I overheard the principle telling one of the teachers to take anyones phone if they see it out during a test. Apparently students were taking pictures of test questions and giving them to people in other hours (brilliant idea).

I also saw a story on the news about students who took pictures of naked chicks and were charging other students money at school to view the pictures. They ended up getting expelled and I believe they had to go to court.

I, for one, can't scratch together enough cash to get a digital camera, so the camera phone comes in handy. Plus, it's always on you when you're out, so you can catch priceless moments when you normally wouldn't have a camera with you.

And for someone who isn't a photographer, the picture quality is decent, obviously nothing to get all excited about.

1MB is fine for a phone imo. I mean.. whos wants to take professional standard pictures.. with a phone?

i got a camera for pictures, and vid cam for videos, and a phone for other stuff.

when ppl were like, 'ewww, your phone doesnt have a camera' I didnt care, I ouwldnt use it anyways, and I'd rather have msn messenger, IE and emulated games
