Let's face it, most politicians are rich business people that want influence. Canada's PM is worth 32 million bucks, a lady in the opposition's cabinet is worth nearly a Billion bucks. Usually the rich run countries, money talks, it is sad, most heads of state are trying to help the people and big business. Go back to the mid 50's with the USA presidents, most were rich to begin with and had tons of influence and they have always tried to help businesses spur on the economy because it gets you re-elected.
